Finally design (or redesign!) your website with ease
Maybe you have a site you’ve been meaning to update for two years. Maybe you paid someone to build it, and now every small change means an email, a wait, and an invoice.
Or maybe you’ve rebuilt it three times, and you feel you need to do it again. (I’ve been there too: rewriting the site can feel safer than the scarier work of telling people you exist.)
I don’t know how to code, I don’t do graphic design, and my copywriting isn’t especially good. Even so, working with AI, I rebuilt around 25 pages of my own site: the first took about 45 minutes (most of it was waiting for the AI to do it), and each one after that about 20.
So this course has two jobs: get your site built or redesigned, and then let you relax about your website.
It takes a gentler way:
- ✓You don’t gather everything first. Your AI interviews you one question at a time, page by page, and offers drafts for you to react to.
- ✓You rehearse on a hidden practice page before you touch anything visitors can see.
- ✓Each old page is backed up and parked out of sight, so you can always go back.
- ✓A page is done when it meets five conditions, like “it sounds like you” and “nothing on the page is untrue or outdated.” Then you stop editing.
Quality stops depending on getting it perfect up front, and starts depending on how many passes you’re willing to make.
What you’ll be able to do, step by step
I recorded this course while teaching it to a group, so you’ll hear their questions and my answers. Each module has short videos and a lesson document with copy-and-paste prompts for your AI, and the work pauses are there so you can build your own page as you go.
- Module 1 · Why now, and your toolkit
Choose an AI assistant that can do the work, and see what’s possible
More and more people ask an AI assistant about you before they book, and what it tells them comes largely from your website. A site written clearly for people usually reads well to those assistants too, so you don’t need a second version for them.
You’ll see five of my own pages before and after, and choose an assistant by the two capabilities this work needs: opening your files and working in your browser. You’ll also find out how your website platform lets an AI in, and what it all costs, in real numbers.

- Module 2 · Your playbook, installed: start building your site
Your AI follows a clear method, and your first real page is underway
You get the Website Creation AI Playbook, my whole method written for your AI to read, so your AI can walk you through planning your site, building each page, and keeping your site up to date.
Then you check your setup in two minutes, publish a hidden practice page, and start a page you intend to keep: a short brief, an interview one question at a time, and a first draft. Short extras cover images for your pages, a custom WordPress theme made from a video you record, and the usual snags.
- Module 3 · How it went: finish, tend, and share
Publish your page, keep your site true, and let people know
Publish with a backup of anything the new page replaces, then run the post-publish check: links, images, how the page looks on a phone, and the path a first-time visitor takes.
Then set up a monthly tending pass, where your AI looks over your site and fixes or suggests updates as your work changes. You’ll also write a warm announcement of your new page, and learn what “done” means for a page and for your site.

The website course assumes an AI assistant that can open your files and work in your browser. This second course sets that up with you, step by step, and it comes with your enrollment.

- Module 1 · Getting it running
An AI assistant that opens your real files and works in your browser
Install the Claude or ChatGPT desktop app (either works), choose which folders your assistant can see, make sure your files are really on your computer, and connect your assistant to Chrome.
You’ll also learn what protects your privacy and what doesn’t, how to make your AI your own tech support, and a 60-second check that everything works.
- Module 2 · Teach it how you work
An assistant that writes in your voice and keeps track of your work
Hand your assistant this course and get a plan for your situation, start a rules file it reads every session, let it interview you, and talk instead of typing. Then build a writing style sheet, so drafts come back sounding like you.
Other lessons cover a “good morning” briefing, work that runs while you sleep, jobs on websites you’re signed into, and checking what your assistant says it did.
What students built along the way
I recorded both courses while teaching a group of students. Some of what they reported as they built their sites:
- ✓Publishing a simple site in a single day, sending their AI a screenshot whenever they weren’t sure what to do next.
- ✓Building WordPress pages with ChatGPT, words first and then colors and fonts, without pasting any code.
- ✓Renaming each old page as its replacement went up, then having the AI take the old page off the menu while keeping it on the site.

I built a business on a cheesy sign-up page
My old email sign-up page was the entire extent of my technical and design ability, and I built a whole business being that cheesy. I’ve also broken my own site several times over the years.
These days my AI runs a monthly tending pass on my site, looking it over and fixing what’s gone out of date. I never have to remember.

Before you enroll
“I’m not techie. Can I do this?”
Neither am I. You describe what you want in ordinary words, your AI builds the page, and you say what to change.
Doing that well takes real practice, and that’s what I can teach you, one page at a time.
“I don’t have a website at all.”
You’re especially welcome. A from-scratch build is one of the clearest before-and-afters there is.
The one errand that stays yours is registering a domain name and choosing where to host your site, and the playbook has your AI walk you through both.
“Will it work with my website platform?”
Yes, whether you’re on Squarespace, Wix, WordPress or something else. If your platform has an official AI connector, your AI edits your pages directly; if not, your AI works through your browser, or writes the page for you to paste in.
Please don’t switch platforms for this. Moving a site is a much bigger project than the one we’re doing.
“Is it safe to give AI access to my computer?”
It’s the question that makes most people pause, so both courses go through it carefully. File access is limited to the folders you choose, and you can change your mind at any point.
You can also do the website course without letting AI into your computer files, because a platform connector or browser access is enough.
“What will it cost beyond the course?”
A paid plan for your AI assistant, plus whatever your website platform already costs.
Module 1 gives you the real numbers, including when a higher plan is worth having for the month or two you’re rebuilding.
“Won’t it just sound like AI?”
It will if you stop at the first draft. Expect the structure to be right and the voice to be close, and your own edits make the page sound like you.
The included setup course also shows you how to build a writing style sheet, so your AI learns how you write.
“What if I’m not sure what my site should say?”
Rough is enough to start, and you don’t need the words finished first. Your AI interviews you one question at a time and offers drafts for you to react to.
Several students found the words took longer than the tech, because building a website asks you to get clear on who you are and what you do.
“Can’t AI just build my whole website by itself?”
It can produce pages quickly. What it can’t do on its own is know what you want your site to say, check that every claim is true, or tell when a page is good enough to stop.
The playbook gives your AI a method to follow, and the course gives you the checks: the interview, the truth check, and the five conditions for done.
“How much time does it take?”
The website course is under two hours of short videos, and the included setup course is about two hours, plus lessons you read.
Most of your time goes into your own pages, at whatever pace fits your life. Come back to the course whenever you’re ready for your next page.
