Connect your AI to Simplero
This guide shows you how to connect an AI assistant, like Claude, to your Simplero account. It takes about ten minutes and no code: six steps below, ending with my free reference library, which teaches your AI how Simplero works.

What changes when your AI is connected?
Most AI help with a website goes like this: you describe your page, the AI writes a draft, you paste it in, and you check whether it worked. Every step by hand.
A connector lets your assistant work in Simplero directly. It opens your account itself, reads the real page, makes the change, and tells you what it did.
How to connect your AI to Simplero

Get an AI app that can use connectors
You need an AI assistant that supports custom connectors (sometimes called MCP servers). I use the Claude desktop app on a paid plan.
If you’re not sure whether yours can, ask it directly: “Can you connect to a custom MCP server?”

Open your AI app’s connector settings
In Claude, that’s Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Other apps put it somewhere similar.
The exact wording moves around as these apps update. If you can’t find it, search your app’s help pages for “custom connector”.

Paste in the Simplero address
Give the connector a name you’ll recognize (I called mine Simplero), and paste this as the URL:
https://mcp.simplero.com/mcp
That address is Simplero’s own, so you’re connecting to them directly, with no middleman.

Log in and review the access
When you connect, Simplero opens its normal login screen and asks whether you want to give this AI access to your account. Read what it asks for, then approve it if you’re comfortable.
You’re approving your own assistant with your own login, and you can disconnect it later from the same settings screen.

Try it
Ask your assistant something small that only your account would know: “Name three of my unlisted pages,” or “What are my three newest courses called?”
Keep the first test narrow. “List everything on my site” will hand you back hundreds of rows.
If it answers with your real content, you’re connected. If it says it can’t see anything, check that you approved access, then remove the connector and add it again.

Hand it the reference library
Point your assistant at my AI reference library for Simplero. The library is a set of documents I keep, written for an AI to read, on how Simplero’s pages, courses, events and commerce behave.
Ask your assistant to read them before it starts building.
Without those documents, your assistant has to guess how Simplero works. With them, it starts from the facts.
Is it safe to give my AI access?
You’re the one granting access, with your own login, and you can take it back whenever you like from the same settings screen.
Your assistant can reach what your account can reach. So keep the ordinary habit of reading what it proposes before you tell it to publish.
What can my AI do once it’s connected?
Your pages
Draft new pages, rewrite old ones, and fix wording across your whole site, without you wrestling with the site builder.
Your courses
Read every lesson you’ve written, point out which ones have gone stale, and draft the next one in your own voice, drawing on your own material.
Your people
Ask who joined this month, which course they came through, and what they’ve been asking about. The answer takes a sentence instead of an afternoon in reports.
Your events
Set up a whole season of sessions in one go, keep every time and link straight, and stop re-checking whether you got the time zone right.
The connector doesn’t reach every corner of Simplero, and some things I still do by hand in the admin. It covers enough that the rest feels like a rounding error.
Give your AI the reference library
Once you’re connected, hand your assistant this library before it starts building.
