Connect your AI to Simplero
About ten minutes, no code, and afterwards your assistant can work with your real pages, courses and people instead of guessing.
Most AI help with a website goes like this: you describe your page, the AI writes something, you paste it in, and you check whether it worked. Every step by hand.
A connector removes the middle. Your assistant opens your Simplero account itself — reads the actual page, makes the change, and tells you what it did. Here's how to set that up.
- 1Get an AI app that can use connectorsYou need an AI assistant that supports custom connectors (sometimes called MCP servers). I use the Claude desktop app on a paid plan. If you're not sure whether yours can do this, ask it directly — "can you connect to a custom MCP server?" — and it will tell you.
- 2Open your AI app's connector settingsIn Claude that's Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector — other apps put it somewhere similar. The exact wording moves around as these apps update, so if you can't find it, ask your assistant where connectors live in your version — it knows its own menus.

3Paste in the Simplero addressGive the connector a name you'll recognize (I called mine Simplero), and paste this as the URL:https://mcp.simplero.com/mcpThat address is Simplero's own — you're connecting to them directly, not through a middleman.
- 4Log in and approve itWhen you connect, Simplero opens its normal login screen and asks whether you want to give this AI access to your account. Say yes. You're approving your own assistant, using your own login, and you can disconnect it later from the same settings screen.
- 5Try itAsk your assistant something small that only your account would know — “name three of my unlisted pages” or “what are my three newest courses called?” Keep the first test narrow; “list everything on my site” will hand you back hundreds of rows. If it answers with your real content, you’re connected. If it says it can’t see anything, the connector didn’t finish authorizing — remove it and add it again.
- 6Hand it the reference libraryThis is the step most people skip, and it's the one that changes the results. Point your assistant at smpl.ro/AIdocs — a set of documents I keep, written for an AI rather than for a person, describing how Simplero's pages, courses, events and commerce actually behave. Ask it to read them before it starts building. Without that, it guesses; with it, it knows.

Your AI can now draft new pages for you, rewrite any old ones, and fix wording across your whole site — without you having to mess with the site builder software.

It can read every lesson you’ve ever written, tell you honestly which ones have gone stale, and draft the next one in your own voice — from your material, not from thin air.
Your people
You can finally just ask. Who joined this month, which course they came through, what they’ve been asking about — answers in a sentence instead of an afternoon in reports.
Your events
Set up a whole season of sessions in one go, keep every time and link straight, and stop re-checking whether you got the timezone right.
One honest limit: the connector doesn't reach every corner of Simplero. Some things I still do by hand in the admin. It covers enough that the rest feels like a rounding error.
